1.-Characters: Stanley Yelnats, Mr. Sir, Mr. Pendanski, Stanley's great grandfather, Sam, Kate Barlow, Mary lou, Trout Walker, Linda Miller, Doc Hawthorn,, Zero, Squid or Alan, X- Ray or Rex, Magnet or José, Armpit or Theodore and Zigzag or Ricky.
2.-Setting: Camp Green Lake in the present. It's a place where young criminals are send to pay for their crimes. Many Years ago, it was a beautiful lake, but now it´s just a big dessert where this criminals dig holes to "construct or build" their character. Also it's Camp Green Lake in the past where Kate Barlow met Sam and fell in love with him. It was a beautiful place in the past.
3.-What happened?: Kate Barlow met Sam and fell in love with him, but when Walker got noticed he killed Sam. Tewnty years later Kate returns and she is founded by Miller and Walker to get her loot. She died by a yellow spoted lizard. In the present the Warden finds that Stanley made a deal with Zero and Zero is digging his holes for him instead Stanley teaches him to read and write. Zero ran away and cnow the warden is expecting that he will return for water.
4.-What will happen next?: Stanley will have to face his ex- friends in the Camp Green Lake and will have to find out where Zero is, continue to finding out the mistery in that place.
